The TECC program is based on the guidelines from the Committee on Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (Co-TECC) and the Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) program. TECC uses lessons learned from our military and applies them to the civilian world of tactical medicine.
This 16-hour, 2 day course covers topics designed to decrease preventable death in the tactical situation. Topics include: Hemorrhage control; surgical airway control and needle decompression; strategies for treating wounded responders in threatening environments; caring for pediatric patients; and techniques for dragging and carrying victims to safety. It includes classroom education, hands on skill stations and multiple scenarios that applies the skills you have learned.
Who It’s for:
TECC is designed for Law Enforcement, EMS, First Responders and healthcare providers. Anyone can take this class, however some of the content may be overwhelming. There are no prerequisites for this class.
Upon completion of this class you will receive a TECC provider card from the NAEMT valid for 4 years.
At the beginning of the course each student will have an IFAK (Individual First Aid Kit) with all of the supplies and equipment needed for the class. During the presentation of the class we will use the items in the IFAK to complete hands on training of each skill taught. If you have your own equipment you would like to work with just let us know and we will be glad to let you use it for the class.

- Water for outdoor training
You will get dirty in the scenarios, the fake blood we use will wash out of most clothing
